GOBOS by Guest Blogger Terri Bergman of Terri Bergman Events

Today's guest blogger is Terri Bergman of Terri Bergman Events. Terri is a member of the Party Favorite's Party Portfolio. We selected Terri Bergman Events as a member of our Party Portfolio because of Terri's experience, knowledge and creativity. We love her "do whatever it takes" attitude and we love her modern approach to event decor.

I love using GOBOs to create a  fabulous finishing touch.  A GOBO is a term used in the lighting design industry. It is a stencil of an image cut either in steel or glass that when light is sent through it, it will project the image onto a surface! That is the technical description and may be “TMI”!

All you need to know is that a GOBO is an effective way to turn your lighting package into a terrific decor element for your event!

The possibilities are endless...the dance floor or a wall over a bar is a great place to project a monogram, logo or design element.  I also love projecting images onto fabric and furniture.  Or a seating chart or guest list projected onto a wall that is a focal point of your room becomes a way to “step out of the box” for your guest seating options...as I said, endless possiblilites...
