A Little Advice...End Your Party on a High Note
Here is a piece of planning advice for anyone planning a mitzvah celebration...give your celebration the send off that it deserves and plan a 4 hour party instead of a 5 hour party. When you begin the party planning process, you may envision your friends and family partying with you until the wee hours, but take it from me, end your party after 4 hours...4.5 hours tops. When deciding whether to have a 4 hour party or a 5 hour party, remember...the best parties go out with a bang. You want to end your party with a packed dance floor and your guests walking away wishing there were more. If you don't want to take my word for it, ask other vendors who work mitzvah parties every weekend their thoughts on the subject. Most will tell you that mitzvah parties begin to die at about 11:00...kids start getting picked up and adults are just tired. Once dessert is served, people feel they have permission to leave. Trust me when I tell you that 5th hour is tough no matter how amazing your Emcee is and how crazy your friends and family are.
